Bedrock’n Roll Evening. Thank you from SJLCC-Kitchen Committee

Our 5th Annual Dinner Theatre was once again a huge success.  This would not have been possible if not for the support and donations given to our group.  All monies earned –$4894.74–from this years’ fundraiser go back directly to the Community Centre for operational expenses.

A sincere thank you to the  following for donating for the ticket draw–

MacEachern’s Ultramar——  $200.00 gift card-winner Annette Hanifen

Highland Basic—————-  Framed picture-winner Michel de Noncourt

Thank you also to the following for donating door prizes:

Bergengren Credit Union, Visable Changes, MacDonald Chrysler, Scotiabank, Atlantic Superstore, Purl Brook Enterprises,, Rollys Wholesale Moncton.

Thanks is also extended to the  Harbour Players for the great entertainment. The presentation “Bedrock n’roll” was enjoyed by all as we followed the Flintstones and Rubbles as they audition the back-up performer Rock (the Pelvis) Salt when he returns home to Bedrock after a successful stint in Hollyrock. The meal –beef tenderloin– was delicious & once again prepared by Helen Stewart & crew. Also thanks goes to Geraldine, Jenny and Annie for decorating and to Debbie Stewart for printing the seating plan.  Special thanks to all members and non-members of the SJLCC who supported our ticket draw and our Dinner Theatre evening.

Dear Friend/Neighbor:

With the arrival of the early morning frost we know that – soon JINGLE BELLS will be ringing in the air!  With that thought in mind, we are putting the finishing touches on our upcoming Christmas event.  This year we are including a Stocking Stuffer Silent Auction.

Do you knit? Make homemade jam or pickles? Perhaps you cross-stitch, crochet, paint, make toys, Christmas wreaths/decorations or have another delightful talented hobby and/or craft that you would love to share?  The members of the St. Joseph’s Lakeside Community Center, respectfully request your donation for our upcoming

Christmas In The Country Concert

&

Stocking Stuffer Silent Auction

Sunday November 20, 2011

We are endeavoring to fill some Christmas stockings with items appealing to our concert audience for our Silent Auction.  This is sure to be a unique and fun-filled   afternoon.  We even expect a visit from special guest, SANTA, who is looking forward to sharing some candy canes!

Please call Joan or Jeff at 863-0644 to donate your special treasure, OR if you would like to volunteer for this special afternoon. A few Christmas elves are needed!

Don’t forget to mark your calendar!!  We are looking forward to visiting with you over a little mulled cider and enjoying the music of the season…
